You can only love Laura Hincu's chiffon dresses from the special collection for the New Year's Parties. Because the event for the launch of Laura's brand on the market was great and people were really supportive with the project, I thought I should give you a hint about her dresses. But only with the right pair of shoes to go with them.

Mystery and simplicity are the words to describe this dress. This kind of dress goes perfect with nude sandals or the opposite, celebrity shoes - not shoes worn by celebrities, but shoes that are celebrities.

Two weeks ago, Alix aka The Cherry Blossom Girl was invited by Chanel to see their new “Métiers d’Art” collection: Paris Byzance. I can only say that I envy her so much for this experience. She had the opportunity to see the shoes from this collection been made in front of her eyes, all in the atelier of Massaro , a famous shoe maker.

Merry Christmas!

It's Christmas and the weather is stranger than ever... 15 C, a very sunny day, nothing says Christmas around my block. Anyway, some Christmas carols, dinner with my family and lots of presents under the Christmas tree should do it to create a good Christmas atmosphere.

Laura Hincu lanseaza colectia de rochii pentru Revelion 2011

"Laura Hîncu lansează pre-colecţia de rochii pentru Revelion 2011. Evenimentul marchează şi lansarea brandului Laura Hîncu pe piaţa de produse premium şi se va desfăşura în perioada 16 – 23 decembrie, în Otro Café, pe bulevardul Decebal numarul 7, într-un cadru restrâns.

Otro Café va găzdui câte o creaţie semnată Laura Hîncu pe zi, urmând ca în 23 decembrie să fie expusă întreaga colecție.

Colecția pentru Revelion 2011 este formată din opt piese discrete din șifon de mătase, dublate cu salopete și rochii care intuiesc liniile corpului. Senzualitatea rochiilor este dată de detalii precum transparență, lungime și drapaj. Trăsăturile colecției pentru Revelion se regăsesc astfel în semnele distinctive ale brandului Laura Hîncu – vestimentație tăcută din materiale naturale, design minimalist și senzualitate subtilă.

Laura își crează propriile haine încă de la vârsta de 10 ani. De la costumele pentru păpușa Anton, blugii decorați și rochiile pentru baluri și petreceri din liceu, până la rochiile sofisticate pentru evenimente private, Laura este un autodidact convins.

În perioada 2006-2009 Laura Hîncu și-a definitivat stilul ca asistent pentru designerul român Adrian Oianu, contribuind la creșterea brandului său.

Delicateţea rochiilor semnate Laura Hîncu constă în designul curat şi simplu. Liniile naturale şi finisajele în detaliu creează povestea subtilă a rochiilor fluide şi practice dezvăluind estetica simplului.

În mai 2011 Laura Hîncu îşi va lansa colecţia primăvară – vară 2011. "

Who would have guessed that these two elements so extreme go together so well? I'm not a big fan of rubber boots but these... I'd wear.

What do you wear when it rains?

These boots are made from rubber and leather materials. This year I saw these two materials together on boots for many times. If you ask me, this is a good combination, even better when the rubber is slightly varnished and the boots don't look anymore like the working boots we hate so much. With the weather these days, these boots look like the best option to make - saving both our socks and our leather boots that are slightly ruined when they see so much water.

I've just heard somebody saying that red is the color of December, because of the Holidays, because Santa is red - i don't know.
I am not sure of the relevance of this affirmation but if you have the right attitude red can be the color for you, anytime of the year.

These are the boots that I cannot get out of my feet, all day long, every day of the week. Even if it's sunny , it rains or snows a little, they never disappoint me. Over the knee boots go with anything I want to wear, are comfortable and keep my knees warm. They are my choice for this week's shoes.
