Andreea Badala. Murmur fw 11/12 @ Pasarela

Andreea Badala is one of my favorite Romanian designers. You can see she really knows what she's doing. And that's not just because she was an intern at Alexander McQueen, but because, besides the clothes, she knows how to express them in her shows, how to bring them in the spotlight in a glamorous way that doesn't make them loose their originality and their mystery...

Most of all, I appreciate the continuity in the evolution of Murmur, her brand.
The show at MNAC's annex on Calea Mosilor 62-68 was made in collaboration with LUNDI et DEMI (designer Ciprian Tocu and architect Attila Kim) and it was about sensuous women, living in a free world, hidden behind a flaxen linen, that was showing only their body lines, showing them in their intimacy, taking their clothes off, letting everything behind...

I just loved everything: the atmosphere, the music, the clothes. Here are some pictures to show you details of Andreea Badala's fall/winter collection. In the nearest future I hope I will buy the long black dress...

Fetish is a theme that repeats itself in Andreea's clothes.

My favorite dress is black, long, jersey made with bottom up heart shaped lace in front of the chest... it's more than sensual... it's sexy but in a hidden dark way...
