The love or hate issue: lace espadrilles

Would you say yes or no to lace espadrilles? What if I told you they were Valentino espadrilles... would you give them a chance then?
The fact is that I saw these in Valentino spring summer 12 show and I thought to myself why not!

But here comes the problem: they cost 384 euro. Now, really, would you pay that much for a pair of espadrilles?
