Avanpremiere show

I was really waiting for Avanpremiere Gala this spring! and so it came, without disappointing me. The two fall-winter collections I loved the most are definitely Ioana Ciolacu and Carmen Secareanu, but I picked my fav looks in each collection to share with you.

As you can see, black & white are still the first choices of Romanian designers in matter of color, but the mixture of fabrics as seen in Anca & Silvia Negulescu, Ioana Ciolacu and Simona Semen are daring, the cuts of wool mixed with soft sheer fabrics at Ioana Ciolacu are so modern, and the loose cuts on jersey at Carmen Secareanu are true chic (making me dream of Coco Chanel boysh's style). It's really the time to invest in a new wardrobe girls! All Romanian Designers made!

Can't wait for one of my fav events in Bucharest, every season now, Avanpremiere Gala!

For fall/winter 2012-2013 we will be seing: Dinu Bodiciu, Ioana Ciolacu, Iris Serban, Carmen Secareanu, Natalia Vasiliev, Anca & Silvia Negulescu, Simona Semen, Lucian Pop. And for the video section - special guest: Rhea Costa.

This is Creative Director Bruno Frisoni's fourth Rendez-Vous collection, after last year decision to create limited editions instead of the usual Couture lines.
Entitled ‘Aristo Boheme’, the Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collection is exactly what its name tells us it is: a boheme turnure of the aristocratic shoe. The pointed toe and curved heel makes you travel back into the XVIII (18)th century - in the costume balls era - and the feather(!!) details add the boheme vibe, a bit of dreamy fairytale feeling - that only Roger Vivier can do to shoes.
So, my sweet shoe lovers, here are two new pairs to dream on...
